Scope:
Entire main floor, same footprint – Kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, laundry, bath, entry, whole house window replacement.
Problem:
Wanting a larger kitchen space + big island but addition was more space and expense than desired
They couldn’t see the space they already had in a different way
The other areas simply needed to be up-dated and up-graded
Solution:
By taking over the unused formal dining room, removing a non-bearing wall, it met both of their goals with no addition
The dining space, cozy for day to day, can extend to accommodate a Renaissance feast
The laundry, half bath and entry were up-dated
Style/Personality:
Her vision was the kitchen on Barefoot Contessa, his was a contemporary loft in the Pearl District
The plan, styles and materials merged both worlds creating a space where the contessa and downtown hipster could live happily ever after.
TESTIMONIAL:
“We knew Rhonda was the right fit for us as soon as we saw her at a seminar she’d given and knew her experience would help us through such a big project (kitchen + entire main floor). My husband and I are very detail oriented so we needed someone to make sure our needs and requests were taken care of. She was great with solutions that matched both of our styles and wants and really helped us think out of the box. Rhonda fought hard to give us exactly what we wanted while helping us stay in budget target range. I highly recommend using her services for any type of remodel or new design…we would use her again in a heartbeat!”
